If you are a beginner, there are a few things you need to be aware of before fishing from a kayak, such as:

• Choose the Right Kayak: You must choose a kayak according to weight and height. The kayak must have a weight capacity to carry your equipment, such as poles, toolboxes, and personal items.
• Use a Life Jacket: Wear comfortable clothing and, of course, a life jacket for your safety.
• Check the Weight of The Equipment: Make sure you know the weight of the equipment you will be carrying. An overloaded kayak can become unstable and increase the risk of capsizing.

There are several ways to clean the outside of a kayak: 

• Lower all items in the kayak.
• Rinse the outside of your kayak with clean water. This is usually best done using a garden hose in a reasonably robust setting.
• Fill a bucket with warm, soapy water and soak a clean sponge or microfiber cloth.
• Then, wash all the outside parts of the kayak using soapy water.
• Rinse until clean as soap.
• Dry thoroughly before storing.
